Some new editions will be added to the shop this week! I wanted to create some diversity to my stall at Saltaire and had all these vintage blocks and I'd never printed. The copper engraved Vintage Lavender Salts block prints amazing detail! The blocks vary from Victorian to the 60s
The small note book is my favourite, gas bottle next to the cooker, how times have changed! Great for jotting down ideas for the kitchen or out and about when cooking up that big idea!
those cuts simply blow my mind. I wish I had more of those kinds of blocks. The Lavendar Salts! Oh my.
ReplyDeleteThey are so hard to find in the UK at a reasonable price! Can't believe they have sat there all this time without me printing them and Lavender Salts! Want more! ;)

ReplyDelete@ Kate was great to meet you to! Part of the fun of fairs is meeting new crafty friends ;) Following your blog and will see you on the 6th (this time I'm bringing a helper! Oh no have you been bitten by the letterpress bug x
ReplyDelete@charlotte how fab, hope you took pictures? I once went to a cottage were we ran out of water, didn't know we were drinking from well ;)
They use a negative and acid to etch into a magnesium plate but not sure how they made the copper Lavender one, I know early ones were done by hand with a sharp pointed Burin. I'm intrigued now, will have to find out!
