Vintage owl linocut

I found this amazing huge A3 antique linocut on ebay, I have no idea who's the artist but judging from the material used I'd say its early 20th century, what a pity there's nothing written on the back I've tried to find out from the dealer but alas he didn't know either!
Couldn't wait to see what it looked like so I've printed a few colours on the proofing press, pretty amazing don't you think?

Taking photos in my house is a nightmare with the light, why do we have such poky windows in the UK! Think I'll frame the green one in a distressed cream frame, goes with my heritage green paint colour.
They're now available in Smokey Indigo Blue and Eau de Nil Green from my Folksy and Etsy shops
