Make Do & Mend

Lovingly printed on on an antique press using vintage dressmaking paper that has discoloured with age and wood letters that date from the 1800s.
This is a limited edition of 20 blue and 20 orange on Betty Fosters vintage dressmaking Design Paper
Now available in my Folksy and Etsy shops

I love this phrase from the 1940's  and grew up with a mum who taught me how to sew and make all my own clothes. I don't sew much now but apply the make do and mend to all the furniture in my house, most of it rescued and turned into useful pieces, there's so much pleasure to be gained from saving old wood and creating a works of art don't you think...
